Julie and Chris Dalby
Knoxville, TN Wedding
This Vintage Wedding Reception was Extraordinary !!! A collaboration of several great minds , coordinators, and exceptional vendors…
Let me start with the ladies at The Wedding Market at 2911. The details of the day were carefully orchestrated like a symphony, with much of the added touches to this reception happening days and months in advance. For example, this well kept secret of a grooms “cigar lounge” was a perfect gift from Julie to Chris….. adding a Gatsby touch.
The Wedding “I SPY” table was fun for guest
The use of the Vintage Typewriters was very clever….
And the Awesome Vintage Suitcases which displayed the “Happy Trails” guest favor trail mix.

Another Awesome Vendor that made this wedding reception extraordinary … was Lisa Foster Floral Designs !
From the Wedding Party Florals to the Centerpieces… Simply Gorgeous.
Each of the Tables had a uniquely different look , yet all kept with the vintage color scheme.

And after having worked with Jennie Andrews several times now… I understand why Knoxville is so “IN LOVE” with her. She is Stealth on site, getting just the right photographic art photo’s. Here is the Bridal Portrait she took!
And WOW..just “WOW” the sound from the Cover Band “The Coveralls” was amazing! They keep the guest entertained into the late evening with their great sound.
“Mother of the Groom” was enlisted to prepare Chris’s favorite cookie recipes…served up with Wedding Cake as the Grooms Choice.

OK .. Since this is a Caterers Blog… I must share some of the incredible food pics. Julie and Chris talked to several different caterers in the Knoxville area, without full confidence in their ability to deliver their envisioned food reception. Then remembered attending an Open House where we served up food samples… and just loved all our recipes. So, with the help of Brenda at The Wedding Market at 2911, they got in touch with us to complete this perfect wedding reception menu! We offered the right “Vintage Look ” buffet they were looking for, and the menu they chose was perfect!
Roasted Pecan (Cornbread) stuffed Chicken Gallentine, with a light curry Bechamel Sauce.

Martini Queso Grits Station with Andouille Sausage, Chives, Benton Bacon, and Shredded Sharp Cheddar.
The Southwestern Black Bean Salad Martini’s were a hit!
Spinach Artichoke Phyllo Cups
Parmesan Roma Tomato accompanied by fresh baked Tomato Tarts
The Main Buffet was completely Vintage including our signature “Crystal Knob” Door
Another Station offered Fresh Fruit Fondue… And we Butler Passed Trayed Crab Dip Bruschetta and Benton Bacon Cheddar Cream Puffs.
I also really need to mention how wonderful The Reserve at Bluebird Hill staff were to work with. Emily , Jan, and Bo were on site and their focus was solely on making the wedding couples dreams of the “Perfect Wedding Reception” come true.
Thanks Chris and Julie !
