The adorable couple met in Atlanta GA. where Katelyn is an ICU nurse, and they returned here to Knoxville to get married in Katelyn’s home town.

First Fruits Catering served Southern Comfort Foods with a complete layer cakes dessert buffet.

The main menu included Chicken Marsala , Rosemary Beef Roast, Whipped Potato Casserole, Southern Style Green Beans, Gourmet Pre-Set Salad, & Layer Cakes – Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Italian Cream, Carrot, Red Velvet, and Wett Lemon.

The Mill & Mine is the perfect wedding venue for large weddings offering an urban style atmosphere and lots of room with amenities that include large changing rooms,  outdoor space, a full stage for bands, and easy access from the downtown Knoxville area with lots of parking.

First Fruits Guest Services. Fifty (50) person minimum required. There are no “Event Day” hidden add-on charges. Gratuity covers professional uniformed staff, delivery, set-up, clean-up and buffet linens and skirting. Gratuity Service 20% of subtotal. Priced Per Person.

    Guest Services Rentals

    Rentals include - plates, stainless flatware, glassware (stemmed), & Large Disposable napkins . We can offer rental company referrals for other rental items (tents, tables, guest table linens, etc.)

  • Reserve Date Contracts & Gratuity

    First Fruits Catering holds reserved "Event Dates" by contract on a first booked-first served basis. The "Non-Refundable" contract fee is 25% of the Grand Total for services, and is collected to "hold the date" and cover Admin. fees . Special provisions in our contract allow clients to incorporate changes to their menu and guest count up to three weeks prior to the event that can change the 75% remaining balance due. A 50 Person Minimum is required for ALL Catering.   20 % Gratuity- All Buffet and Hor d oeuvre Receptions :covers professional uniformed staff, delivery, set-up, clean-up of our work area and clearing of dining rooms tables. 30% Gratuity- Plated Meal Receptions:  plus above gratuity services .

  • Bartenders and Alcohol

    Insurance liabilities do not permit First Fruits Catering to provide bartender staff, set-ups, or glassware for alcohol . We can refer the most professional bartender staff at the most affordable price. Inquire with us regarding your bar needs.

Let me start with the ladies at The Wedding Market at 2911. The details of the day were carefully orchestrated like a symphony, with much of the added touches to this reception happening days and months in advance. For example, this well kept secret of a grooms “cigar lounge” was a perfect gift from Julie to Chris….. adding a Gatsby touch.

Julie and Chris talked to several different caterers in the Knoxville area, without full confidence in their ability to deliver their envisioned food reception. Then remembered attending an Open House where we served up food samples… and just loved all our recipes. So, with the help of Brenda at The Wedding Market at 2911, they got in touch with us to complete this perfect wedding reception menu! We offered the right “Vintage Look ” buffet they were looking for, and the menu they chose was perfect!
