Amanda McClanahan and Travis Cotten
Maryville , TN
My beautiful niece and nephew-in-law !!!
Amanda was a First Fruits Catering site manager for several years… She knew exactly how she wanted the entire wedding to unfold. And I am so impressed with what a perfect wedding it was :~)
The same florals were used throughout, Strawberry Cream Punch flowed from the elegant fountain.
The buffet included lite afternoon hors d oeuvres perfect for a 2:30pm reception (and all of Amanda/Travis favs…)
The BBQ Meatballs and Rolled Ham with Cream Cheese were complimented by our famous Seven Layer Mexican Dip w/ Chips
Then we had a four foot Fresh Vegetable display with ranch dip!
Amanda designed all the centerpieces for the elegant dining room, each were different and uniquely designed to reflect their taste.

And then the Wedding Cake….. “Over the Top”…. Amanda sketched out the complete design for the wedding cake. The horse and carriage was sentimental of the memory of Travis proposing to her at the Biltmore Estate during a horse draw carriage ride :~) Soooo fairy tale perfect .right…!

And Travis (the true sports fan) wanted a “GO VOLS” grooms cake!
Welcome to the family and congratulations Travis!
What a pleasure to be a part of this “dear to my heart” wedding, Amanda and Travis will always be very special to me. And I just have to say that this was one perfectly planned wedding event.. from start to bubble blowing finish!!!

Community Open House
In 1995 there were more than 1,300 dairy farms in the state of Tennessee. Today, there are about 540. The UT Little River Animal and Environment Unit gives Tennessee dairy farmers hope in discovering new ways to increase the quality and productivity of the Holstein cattle. The facility will also investigate interactions between animal agriculture and the environment, including waste management , water quality studies, and land-use studies.
THE COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE WAS A ” H U G E “ SUCCESS!!!! Over 500 people attended just in the first two hours…
The buffet snacks were well received! We featured Fresh Vegetables Display, Fresh Fruits Fondue, Gourmet Domestic Cheeses, and a beverage assortment.

WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY UT
Thanks for allowing First Fruits Catering to be a part of the Community Open House!!!

Jeff and Kendra
Maryville , TN
River John’s Island is a unique venue in the Wildwood area of Maryville . This small private island offers excellent opportunity for a rustic wedding and reception site.
Jeff and Kendra are both school teachers and decided to plan and implement the entire wedding in just alittle over three weeks (before school started back). They enlisted the help of Debe Campbell , wedding coordinator extraordinaire (865) 567-8018 . Debe was able to bring all vendors together quickly and pull off some amazing details that really made this whole day very special.

Kid’s fun wagon, bug repellent basket, and unique flower accents are just a few details that Ms. Debe created.
Ms. Sondra Kay was onsite everywhere snapping excellent natural wedding day photo’s; the couple portrait was great!
The music was great ! From ceremony , MC, to reception music -Mr. Craig Hurst did an excellent job, congrats !
The menu that Jeff and Kendra selected was awesome. First , we started with a butler passed tray of domestic gourmet cheeses and mini roasted pecan cheeseballs. Then we preset each place setting with our Spinach Pecan Salad with the Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. As each guest finished their salad we encouraged them to go through the great dinner buffet.

And, Finally… One of my most favorite wedding cakes of 2011 !!!! The orchids Kendra picked up for me were divine!

Incredible Event! Thanks Jeff and Kendra for letting us be a part of your special day :~)
