BuffetRobert requested a custom item BLT Brushetta, I must say his creation was excellent and I am considering adding it to the menu!

Smoky Mountain Wedding Association Meeting

This bi-monthly meeting was held at the Event Barn on Immanuel”s Farm, owners  Chuck and Melanie McGinnis were the perfect host!

The Event Barn 584-2683The Barn was a functional barn for years until recently when Chuck remodeled this space for the use of events. The upstairs is a great space for wedding ceremonies during inclement weather.

The Event Barn 584-2683There are other area’s for wedding ceremonies on this beautiful property, one of my favorites is the pond area!

The Event Barn PondThe Smoky Mountain Wedding Association is a growing association of wedding vendors determined to bring more business to the Smoky Mountains! What an honor to be a part of this group. We co-sponsor this meeting with a full buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres . The Shrimp Martini’s were a hit:) (shrimp cocktail with remoulade sauce)

Shrimp Martini'sOther items on our buffet included  Rosemary Roast Medallions, Rotini Chicken Alfredo, Seven Layer Mexican Dip with Blue Chips, Herb Stuffed Roma Tomatoes, Rolled Ham and Cream Cheese Bites, and Fresh Fruit Fondue.

Mint Peach Iced TeaThe evening was filled with wonderful business networking! I enjoyed meeting and photographed lots of other Association members!

Then I met Ben and Billy from Smoky Mountain Balloon Company who provided the awesome centerpieces for this event.

323-6789Mr. Jim McGill from the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce gave  us some very informative information on the services available through Chamber of Commerce.

Smithview Ceremony by the creekIt a real compliment when we get the opportunity to cater the second daughter of a family.  Thanks Joy Lynn(mom) and Bert(dad) for making us a part of your family celebrations!

The reception started with a Fruit and Cheese table , beverage station, and then on to a full Dinner Buffet!

Kyle and JordanPhillip, Colin, Cameron, Laura, JacobThe Dinner Buffet featured our Herb Crusted Pork Loin and Lemon Pesto  Chicken (I harvested the basil for the chicken from my herb garden!)

MGR Jordan ,serving the entree'Complimenting the entree’ was a Whipped Potato Bar (with cheddar cheese, bacon, and chives) , Glazed Baby Carrots , and Parmesan Spinach Casserole.

Buffet Side ItemsThe Wedding Cake was our  Wett Lemon Cake with Butter Cream Frosting! Simple decoration with the invitation monogram centered.

Wett Lemon CakeI really need to mention the flowers! We worked with Tammy Phillips several times this year! The flowers were just exceptional, from corsages to centerpieces!

Laura and ChrisLaura and Chris invited 150 close friends and relatives to attend their reception at the Baptist Collegiate House on the UT campus (Chris’s previous residence).

UT CampusThis newly remodeled collegiate house offers great space for the active campus outreach ministry.

Jordan and JacobChris and Laura chose a simple afternoon menu for their reception. Fresh Fruit Fondue, Rotini Alfredo, and Breaded Chicken Strips. . With several Butler Passed Hors d’oeuvre trays.
